Question Wasn't there a DIY for lighting the dead cell in the taillights?

I tried several different search terms and couldn't find anything about lighting the dead cell in the taillights. Anyone have some kind of DIY or further information on this? I know I saw one at some point, but I can't find it anywhere.

Get 12V off the factory tail light's wire and use either the factory tail light bulb or the lesser powered version (5W instead of 10W IIRC), which is generally preferred as it was meant to be a fog light spot and lets more light through. Be sure to get a set of the white light bulb socket things from a parts car or something - the bulbs hold in place without them but won't be properly aligned.
