Angry A/C condenser

i was recently being a moron and i tried to take out my A/C condenser. as i was disconnecting a fitting, one of the hoses snapped right off the condenser. i have been told that its not good to use a used condenser. is this true? if not... has anyone got an old one for a late model 944, cause i do know that the bracket is different.

Good luck on finding a used one that doesn't leak. I tried 2 different used ones and both leaks after having them ck'd out. They are in such a bad position up front and as a result they take a lot of beating.

Both used ones that I found where in the $75 ballpark, but again neither worked. I ended up buying a new aftermarket from Ian @ 944online.com for about $220. Ian is a very honest guy to deal with and the part works great. About $100 less than new OEM one to boot!

Hope you get yours figured out and working soon!

You may also want to try Griffith's. I have one of his on my car and it's cold enough in there to store meat. He updates so more air gets to the radiator.
