Post cam tower bolt leak

I've found an oil leak coming from the middle of one of those big hex bolts/inserts (about 1" across, 6 of them in the top of the tower). The oil is weeping into the hex shaped hole.

Should I try to torque it up to stop the leak or do these affect something underneath? Is there a gasket on these inserts? I had a new cam gasket installed 3 months ago by a mechanic.

Its on an 87 944 turbo

Thanks,
Dave

They are just plugs. You remove them to get to the cam tower bolts that reside in the tower.
