Default Have you seen me?

Hello all:

When I bought my 951 racecar, it had this Air-Fuel badly zip-tied to the dash, and it was not even hooked up. I quickly took it out. . .

So, instead of just throwing it away, I want to hook it up and see if it works.

There is no name on it, have any of you seen it before?

Also, it was 4 wires: red, black, green, and white. Do you guys have any idea of the pinouts for this?

After research, it may be red and black for 12v and earth. I have read other meters have the green for the O2 sensor. Now, some meters have white going to dash lights - this cheap-o doesn't look as though it is that advanced. But there was one write-up here on R.L. that has a wire going to earth on the DME ECU pin 28.

What do you guys think?

Thanks in advance . . .

The unit you have was built by a company out of SC. It has been discontinued.
The wires are as follows:
RED: Switched +12V
BLACK: Ground
GREEN: O2 Signal Wire
WHITE: Fuel Injector Control Wire (the wire that goes from the ECU to the injector).

I had that EXACT same NB AF meter in my car when I bought it. It put on a pretty light show, but it was completely worthless. I promptly removed it, along with the poorly installed MAF setup and went back to stock.

Default Thanks John

Thanks for the info.

After looking at the wiring diagrams, the 12v and earth are easy, the O2 sensor goes into pin 24 on the DME, but which output are you talking about for the injectors?

I see pin 15 on the DME runs to injectors 1 & 2, and pin 14 runs injector 3 & 4. I also see that the injectors' other wire runs to pin 6 on the KLR.

I am pretty sure you mean coming off the DME, and I can guess it doesn't matter which one I choose as they should be doing the same thing. Am I correct?

And I guess this wire to the injectors runs the duty cycle side of this meter? Or do I need it hooked up for the A/F ratio as well?

Thanka again to all . . .
