Interesting read from the past. I don't think anybody, except those who have served in Iraq, feel or felt like we were ever at war. The Iraq "war" gave Americans a cathartic sense that they were doing something with all those tanks, planes and bombs to show those terrorists a thing or two. I say this was a false sense of accomplishment since all it has done killed 30,000 Iraqis(from W's mouth), wasted 2300 American lives and inspired hatred for America in a new generation of Islamic fundamentalists. This is a war unlike any other. It is a war where the battlefield is thought and beliefs not tanks and guns. Upon that battlefield this adminstration has failed on all fronts.

What we should really fear is $30,000.00 of debt for every man woman and child in the US. This will be far more devistating to the future of America than anything the terrorists will ever accomplish.

I am going to REALLY refrain from responding with everything I feel.

Fact: North Korea is OPENLY against us and even threatens the U. S. with usage of nuclear weapon in a pre-emptive strike against us. It is making nuclear bombs as we speak, not just speculated but confirmed production. Why do we go after a small fish like Saddam instead? Could it be because maybe instead of 2000+ dead, we will have 50,000 dead or more? So is WMD the real issue?

Fact: We supplied Saddam with weapons (therefore, we know for sure he had chemical weapons etc because we gave it to him) and he was our ally in the 8 year war against Iran.

Fact: We supplied Osama Bin Laden with weapons and he was our ally as a Mujahadin fighter against the USSR.

Fact: Most of the 9/11 perps are from Saudi Arabia - why are we not invading them? Why is Bush holding hands with the prince of Saudi Arabia?

Fact: We all are going to die one day, its just a matter of how soon and when our numbers are called, we go. We can live in fear or just live life.

Fact: If California staged an armed rebellion and wanted to leave the United States militantly, alot of Californians will die in the hands of the U. S. military much like Kurds staging a rebellion in Iraq.

I don't believe Saddam is a saint but lets get real here. Russia gassed their own civilians in the hundreds just to kill some terrorists holding them hostage to make a point even their own civilian lives are expendible. What is happening in Chechnya? Anything Saddam did, Putin probably did 10 times worse. Should we go invade Russia and get rid of a tyrant? What I believe to be universal is that ALL governments are evil to some extent because that's just the nature of the beast. All people care about is really how well the government takes care of its own people and fortunately, we live in the best country in the world. I love this country and firmly believe in the constitution, however, we are not perfect and do commit some evil acts from time to time. Forcing Iraqi prisoners sadomize each other and ********** at gunpoint is not very saintly in my opinion. Unfortunately, our very censored media never mentioned much of what you can hear from foreign news sources.

I hope for the best in this Iraq war but I believe we have just made a lot of people hate us for generations to come.

I would assume the sunroof hinge would be the same on all the cars, but then again they did change the sunroof motor, so I guess I can't count on simple parts always being interchangeable.

 

For the cost, I may just buy a new set on both sides and call it a day. That way I won't have to worry about it.

 

I'm looking to pick up a cheap '80 924 off of Ebay. How hard would it be to put my 951 engine in it? Anyone try this before? Can I switch interiors?
