Default 03/2010 my baby is gone to a new home

Owned Sep 2006 - Mar 2010
Miles: 152k to 172k
Money: More than I can count
Hours: Ditto
Blood: Yep
Sweat: Definitely
Tears: check

It was tough to let go but it had to be done. No time for 3 cars, especially with a deployment coming up. I bought that car so I could learn how to work on automobiles and because I thought the 944 was such an awesome car. Well I certainly got what I wished for on the first account. I also learned all about driving through autocrossing the car and going to DEs. I even met my girlfriend at an autocross in the car. It really was like giving up a memento of my life.
I plan on staying on Rennlist, both the 996 boards and the 944 boards so I can offer the support of the knowledge I've gained through my time owning and working on the car. Also I'm sure some spare parts will turn up that I need to sell!

Thanks for all the good times, 944.

Sounds like you should have sold the 911 and kept the 944

I definitely wouldn't have missed the 911 as much. Still growing on me.

Congrats...I guess?
I recently parted with a car as well. Bitter sweet.

Guess it's just time to buy a 951 now, right?

Bittersweet when a 'friend' leaves. Can't beat those wheels, imho. Good luck on the deployment.
