thats a really good price for a 2.7 engine...

there's no difference between a 924S and a 944 tranny besides that 5th gear right?

A 924S tranny is direct swap for an 83-85 944. It will fit in the 85.5-89 cars, but does not have the speedo sender in the box and uses is a different mount arrangement.

Bad rumor whalebird Porsche only made 2 different 8 valve cams for the 2.5 and 2.7 cars there all the same

# stamped in cam turbo ends in 05
NA ends in 09

Potomac most '88 944's have the same transaxle all 85 /2 - '88 USA 944's have however I have seen a few 88's with the ROW trasnaxle yours must be one of these?

The carpet needs a good vacuming after you install it, after you tear out your old carpet I would let all the sound deadening and underlayment air out for a couple warm days! Then install this stuff, the pictures of the rear pieces look really white they are just barely starting to fade they are not that bad!

Arominus the 018 option code elevated hub steering wheel has the same part # as the exact same wheel with no hub? However it is not exactly the same, as the factory did not spot weld and crimp the splined metal steering shaft receptacle onto the wheel they just spotted 3 nuts on the inside of the wheel with through holes for the aluminum hub to bolt to the wheel. Then the aluminum hub has the splined receptacle in it, I have both wheels and have dicected them to find this out! You cant mix and match!
