No, a stock 951 will not run quicker laps.

Yes, the suspension does date back to the E30 M3's suspension, but I fail to understand why that is such a negative.

Ever notice how quick the 70's 911's are on a track, and *gasp* they are running on a suspension designed in the 60's.

This American latest and greatest is the only way to go crap has got to stop.

The M-coupe is a great car...but I still think it looks like a shoe.

Congrats on the purchase. The M Coupe is on my list of cars to own/drive one day. A Black one though!

I love a inline 6.....sooooo smooth running. I saw one at a autocross a few years ago that I did with my buddy in the BMW club. It was very nice and sounded good at redline.

Clown shoe....that's hilarious!

I love the look, but the car is a lot smaller inside than the 944 and not as communicative on the road.. But it sure is fast with those 320 horses..

Clown shoe... hee hee... love that...

I don't mind the look... too bad that I can't fit in it i.e. anyone over 6 feet tall probably needs to open the sunroof in order to drive. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />

The M Coupe is one of my all time favorite dream cars. That and the mid '80s M6.

3. My dad is Bill Wrigley’s pilot (Wrigley Gum co.) Wrigley has a large collection of BMWs. One day he had one sitting out at the hanger and let me take it for a spin around town because it was my birthday. Some people say when you drive a 944 it’s almost like you can feel what’s going on with the car. But that car is so light and so agile you can really feel what’s going on. It’s like going from driving your 944 to driving your girlfriends 89’ dodge lancer… Its like, I had no idea how much normal cars sucked compared to my 944. But it’s the other way around, I can’t believe how much my 944 sucks compared to that M. ooh I want to drive it again. Next time I talk to him Ill ask if I can take it for another drive. And I’ll get some pics.

I think some may have thought he meant American cars...etc
