Question clutch housing sensors
Can anyone confirm an extra (not plugged in) sensor on the clutch housing for me. It is on the drivers side just below the 2 sensors that plug into the DME/KLR harness. The sensor has a long wire on it with a round 3 prong plug. Could it be a clutch engagement sensor for the cruise control? If it has some real functionality, where should it be plugged in?

Just checked mine and it isn't plugged in to anything. It has a grey wire (cable) and black cap over the electrical connector. Sorry can't help...Bruce

It should not be plugged in.

I even left it off of my new engine.

I removed mine as well... seemed it had not been in used for quite sometime...

Just finishing up a clutch job, and it's not connected to anything. Mine is plugged at the connector end. In fact the little loop that holds to to something rusted apart. I'm just going to wire tie it up out of the way.
