Default Correct offset for 18 inch wheels on a '87 951

I have read many threads about correct offsets but I'm still unsure on fitment. I found a set of wheels that are rear: 10x18 offset 40 and front: 8x18 offset 52.

Would these bolt up to a 1987 951 without modifications?

Also whether the above mentioned wheels fit or not, for wheels in this size and width what offsets would you recommend?

Thank you for the help!

best fit would be 55mm offset- im running 50mm offset front and rear and its tight but i run alot of neg camber for the track. 52-65 mm for rear ideally. 55 should be perfect up front.

btw- my 86 is converted to 87 suspension.

I have a new set of wheels now, but still need to find out the right tire size. They are Front: 18x8 offset 52 Rear: 18x10 offset 65. I have the stock suspension but am concerned I may need to run negative camber up front (requiring a new suspension with camber plates). Do you have any suggestions for tire sizes to prevent rubbing? Thank you

I don't think you will have a problem running that setup, but I am not sure.

As for tire sizes, 225 and 265 would be correct for your wheel sizes.
