Default Great 944 coverage in this month's Grassroots Motorsports. Nice work kgosselin!

Just got this month's issue of Grassroots Motorsports and Kevin Gosselin has a nice interview / writeup on his 944 Spec build.

In addition to this article there are myriad other mentions of the 44 including 944 Cup coverage from the December Roebling Road races.

Finally, I want to know more about Paul Suebodnik's LT1 TURBO 85 944 that placed 49th overall in the Grassroot's $2009 Challenge!

Agree, that was a great article Kevin! I love the way you built the spec car in the driveway, going to see if I can get that past the wife. Perfect article for Grassroots, probably one of my 2 favorite car mags.

I'm pretty sure I met Paul in the LT1 car about a year ago when I bought a cyl. head from him. He had a garage full of cool American iron, Porsche, and an RX7 if I recall. I don't remember seeing a turbo on the 944 at the time, I would like to see how he got that packaged. I wonder if DanP knows him.

Can't wait to see it. A race car build in the driveway is exactly the kind of thing I need to prove to my wife that I'm not THAT crazy!

That article really embodies the spirit of 944-spec! I would guest 80% of the 944 spec cars running were built at home. Maybe not in the drive way, but at home by a DIY guy.

do we have before pictures of the car, or was the "lowly NA" kept out of the pictures at Kevin's request that day?

I like the shot in the new March Pano with the flat tow set up. Anyone know where he got the tow bar and how it hooks up? I "Googled" 924 tow bars and it pulled up a bunch of "stuff" from a large old time catalog house.

I was there, he ran a rear mounted turbo set up which was pretty cool. unfortunately he had some issues and had a severe power output drop. not sure what he found the eventual cause of it to be. he had to pull the turbo and run straight pipe to try and get more runs in. cool set up though!

For some reason I get my issue about 1 month after everyone else. I think my mailman reads it first
