I think it's better than the indiglo alternatives I've seen, but I'm still not sure...Looks kinda snazzy at night, though.

They are offered by the same company that I got my standard indiglo gauges from. These are starting at $85, the regular ones are about $25. I think these look better, but the regular gauges are much easier on the wallet. I also think the standard gauges look better unlit.

I bought mine from E-bay 4 weeks ago. went to install them a week later put power to them first. the three blue colors worked but the fad to green just flashed. Then they stoped working altogether. I mailed them back 2 weeks ago and have had any reply to any of my e-mails and there voice mail was FULL. MAn I glad I only paid $25.50. I will keep yall posted. Procarparts.com dosent get my vote!

You are right, these reverse indiglos look much better at night than the regular ones. But in the daytime, they look like they were made by Fisher Price.

So the regular ones are the way to go.

What are the chances of getting a 180mph speedo with boost-gauge? I asked some guys on eBay about that but didn't get a response. And the auctions with white gauge faces sold by 9xauto are completely bogus. An '83-91 944 Turbo with 160mph speedo and MPG gauge? Come on now.... (isn't there some eBay regulation on truth in advertising?)

Well, geez, if the *girl* can do it, anybody can

I found mine to be a bit of a pain in the ....neck b/c I'm a perfectionist. It was tough to line everything up so that the idiot lights (et al) lined up properly. I also called my partner's brother to figure out how to determine positive/neg to solder the power wires. In the end, just a coupla hours of work. It looks great! Really makes the interior of the car look 10 years newer, just like the 993 wheels did for the exterior. I'd recommend it for $25.

Any companies make aftermarket gauge faces for early cars?

Danno,

What scheme are you contemplating?

I would be willing to add my name to the pot of 20 for a 180mph turbo gauge with black background (stock) and the day glo FONT.

I don't think I would be interested in a cluster of large neon dots, staring me in the face at night while driving.

Unless the people that have done this, can say that the glowing dials are good and not intrusive at night. I have never seen these in person.

Do you all pay that much attention to the speedo and tech when you are driving?

What else in these cars could possibly look good with indiglo?

Its the timex Porsche guages!

Not in my taste at all, but to each his/her own.

I wonder where the guys at ProCarParts are from. I sent them an e-mail and this is the response I got. I read at over and over but I still don't understand what she's saying.

Hi,
The regular style will has it. Also, please note that the guages for
the 944 is only fit for the 91 model.

Thanks.

> Hi,
> I'm interested in your indiglo guages for the 944. My question is do
> you make them without the MPG guage under the tach. I see your reverse
> guages don't have it so I was wondering about the regular style. Thank
> You,
