Default Paragon no longer shipping by US Post?

I used to be able to select US Post as a shipping method when ordering from Paragon online. Tried this morning and it would only let me select UPS and DHL. Anyone else noticed this? Paragon is top of my list for suppliers, I hope they haven't dropped US Post as a carrier. UPS/DHL/Fedex etc all add fake "brokerage" fees at the border, which I've seen as high as $60 on a $150 order.

Most companies have gone to UPS or FEDEX as they will stop and pick up the packages. Co. does not have to take time to go to the USPS to mail out. You eat the extra cost now.

Cheers,
Larry

My mailman picks up USPS Priority packages daily, its nice because I don't need to worry about scheduling a pickup.

Yeah, I have asked on the phone before and have been told they don't do USPS anymore. Really sucks on small orders.

They've lost a loyal customer in me then. I've ordered a few thousand at least from them since 2002, they were my favorite supplier. UPS are criminal when shipping into Canada, US post is the only shipper that has honest border fees. Such a shame, I'm really curious why they dropped US post.

apparently your business isn't worth a trip to the post office anymore!

Good suggestion.

For my latest order I went through Pelican as they still ship US Post, they've always been #2 for me anyway. Vertex Auto now gets moved up to the #2 spot. Both are also very good, but its the actual passion for and knowledge of the original water coolers that Paragon has that is great.

Zims (www.allzim.com) is very good, too. They still ship USPS as far as I know.

Guys...Paragon has been straight with us for years. If they are like most small businesses they are making hard choices. Let's not walk away from our friends when times get tough.

Bruce, i don't know if loyalty is worth $60 on a $150 order :P I order from paragon all the time, but if i was looking at those kind of shipping fees i'd really have to look out for number one and go elsewhere.
