Current EUR/USD spot is 1.0776, so right now it cost .93 euros to buy 1 USD.
Lowest was on 3/10 when it only cost .90 EUR to buy 1 USD.

Steve, I hope it wasn't "a few years ago", since we've only been using the euro for a hair over a year now - it was introduced in 1.1.2002 ...
(I do believe it was listed in the exchange rates for a long time before that though, just wasn't yet in use)

It was mid 2000. The local currencies were used, but the exchange rate was tied directly to the value of the Euro.
