My old wheel was really ratty as well. I just swapped my steering wheel out with a nearly pristine 3 spoke from MichelleJD's parts car. The 1" spacer on the hub puts the wheel a little closer to me as I drive- I'm really beginning to like the closer wheel. Hiway knee steering anyone??

I once did 100 miles in Upstate NY going down the thoughway without once putting my hand on the wheel.

Was a rental car though.

ugh! our 85.5 had the extended hub piece of crap. the wheel had no leather, so i sold it and got a good short hub one with decent leather... MUCH better!

and yeah, dave, i'm quite the seamstress, eh
