How to get behind the oil pressure and clock gauges?
I've searched and found a lot of posts about replacing the bulbs but can't find a procedure on how to get the to the bulbs. My clock, oil pressure, HVAC and lighter bulbs are out and I would like to replace them. Does anyone know how to get behind there?
thanks

Sounds like you have an early car. All the lights are daisy-chained from the cluster guages, so your problem may likely be at the connector on the back of the tach. You can get to that by reaching up from behind the dash and pushing it out (it's only secured by a rubber grommet and it'll pop right back in).
As for removing the console panels, I'll have to have a look at the service manual to refresh my memory, but if you remove the radio, you should find a couple of small screws that go vertically upward to secure the HVAC control panel; once you get that one loose, another pair of screws securing the lower edge of the top panel will be exposed.
