Question transaxel oil leak

Hi guys, I have a 86 951 with LSD and have recently developed an oil leak on the right side of transaxel. It only leaks when the car is moving. There are a few drops after I park the car. After looking at the trans on a rack It is not clear where the leak is. Could it be from the seals where the axel shafts bolt on or is it common for the oil cooler tubing to crack or leak at its connecting points? Is this a hard fix? Any help would be welcome. Thanks, Jim

Look higher up. I was told there is a pressure valve on the topside of the tranny. Mine leaks after spirited runs (over 90 mph), which I believe is from the blow off. It doesn't bother me as I have kept a close watch on the fluid level, and it's not going down. Just the wetness and occassional drip on the garage floor.

It's probably the drive-axle seals. Easy repair actually. It was one of the first things I did to my 951. Tip: do one side at a time or something in the trans can get out of alignment.

There's a vent hole up at the top of the trans.
