Question Anyone running Lindsey Racing Ultra Mounts?

Just curious if anyone has any feedback on the Lindsey Racing "Ultra Mount" adjustable engine mounts?

I thought about it, but went with Rein OEM. I was worried about the vibration/harshness.

I'm running them.
Slightly more vibration than a good stock mount.
WAY better than a blown mount
Doesn't bother me a bit, even with my less-cushy '83

I have been running them for a while and I am with porcho. More vibes than stock, but they are excellent quality and I don't think I will ever have to worry about replacing them.

Putting in CEP semi-solid engine mounts in a month or two. They lower the engine 6mm. Will put up feedback after I drive on them.

lower center of gravity
gives less body roll, for higher cornering speed

Wouldn't solid engine mounts cause too much vibes and possibly issues with the fuel rail breaking ?

Both of my engine mounts were toasted, I replaced with oem style but wanted to go solid, however, did not due to fear of too much vibrations and potential fuel rail issues. Amy I nuts or correct to be concerned about that ??

I currently have the full solid aluminum mounts in the race car and they are just too much. I am thinking I might go to the ultra mounts when I pull the motor this winter.

I had the same thoughts Tom, that is why I went with the Ultra mounts. Stiffer than OEM, but not quite as stiff as solids and no leaking fluid, collapsing, etc. Also using the soild trans mount.

Tom
don't solid mounts decrease vibrations in the engine, and increase vibrations in the chassis??

maybe bumbs from the road surface are transferred to the engine better... but does that increase the risk of breaking the fuel rail?

I have a set of the Supermounts which are very similar in the racecar. Not too bad although for a street car I would probably just go with factory replacements.
