the heads i posted are 8v examples but the water passage design is shared between the 2.5 8/16v cars and the 2.7/3.0L 8/16v cars. the 2.5 blocks are all the same. the 2.7L and S2 3.0L are their own common block.

Then why is mine a 2 bolt design? Unless I am misunderstanding you. Do I have a unique 2 bolt return, S2 head?

Lets say for a second that Spencer is wrong... and S2 heads, or maybe S2 heads of a certain hear DO use a 2 bolt water passage.

I think one bolt hole doesn't go through into the block on the newer heads. Water passages would still be the same as shown for the 2.5l and 3l heads.
