Default 1986 944 NA in local parts yard, need anything?

There's an 86 NA in the local yard, just wondering if anybody needs anything. Car is grey with black interior. Body is pretty rough, it looks like it had a low-speed impact in the passenger side quarter panel.

Interior is decent, seats are kind of beat up but carpets are in good shape. I didn't get the hatch open to check the options sticker though.

I did notice something odd....it has one Porsche script door handle and one non-script handle. The script handle is on the passenger side.

If you need anything let me know and we can work something out

If you can find the Early manual adj, script seats you can weld the late model seat rails to them. They only need welded in the back as you can bolt them in on the front. They changed the rear mounting location on the late models, plus they made it a double bolt instead of one. I am doing this now, with a pair of early script seats.

Thanks Viperns. I actually have a 924S, so it is like the early cars. Really good info though. I am having a hard time finding good script seats. I would even take the covers off and reapply them to my frames if needed. I guess I could be "happy" with a set of sport seats if I had too....

The frames are different, from early to late. Aside from the front mounting location it seems like everything else on them was changed. I tried to swap the coverings, but the late seats are thicker and beefier. If you go the weld route it won;t cost much, its only 2 weld, one on each side.

From what i understand early script seats were more common. On a side note, the rear script seats will fit in the back just fine with no modification. The ones i put in fit fine they were form the same early car as my front script seats.
