Question Cooling Fan Resistor, where?

Where is the cooling fan resistor mounted? I think my is broken since the cooling fan does not run with the ignition off and hot engine. My car is an '83 with no AC and only one big cooling fan.
It is the resistor to the right in the diagram.

Never had to work on it yet but I think it is under the plastic cover over the blower in the center of the hood.

Sure is. It is a 0.7 ohm resistor and looks like a white hockey puck. It is located behind the glove compartment on the fire wall...at least on an 86 it is. The 86 has two fans, that why there are two resistors in the picture.

The picture was taken looking up from the back of the passenger side floor, just above the DME cover. The black box is the back of the glove box. If you remove the glove box, you should have good access.

I found it behind the instrument cluster on the fire wall.
