MAF system questions
Hey guys/girls. I’m new to this forum so this is my first threat posted here.
Some of you may know me from Pelican Parts BBS forum.
Anyway I’m thinking of going towards getting a MAF system on my 951, right now I have a LINK AFM system on my car which I’m not familiar with (came with the car) so the questions are,
- has anyone experienced any problems with the MAF system such as idling... ECT
- Which company, brand people go for or the better ones
- And how good is the engine response to these systems

An MAF system would most likely only have problems idling ect... with incorrect DME management. As long as you tune the system properly it should be okay.
I don't have a setup myself but its supposed to increase power and response in the rpm ranges where the stock AFM "flap" would be mostly closed and less so where the AFM would be nearly open. Basically low and mid range is where you would see the most improvement.
