Default Just for Fun: Weekly Quick Poll

I've added a new "quick poll" feature to Ideola's Garage. These are 1 or 2-question "quick polls" on a variety of transaxle-Porsche related topics. Each poll will be active for four weeks, so within a month, there will be up to four polls active at any given time. I've already got 52 weeks worth of polls lined up, so I'll post here each Monday with a link to the new poll.

For each poll, you can vote once, after which you will be able to view the results. There's no registration required, and it's completely anonymous (hopefully, this won't be abused!). These are strictly for fun, I'm not collecting any demographics or anything at all like that.

This week's poll:
How many miles per year do you put on your Porsche(s)?

For the geeks among us, I'm using an open source tool called LimeSurvey. It provides a lot of different options for polling, much more robust than the simple poll facility provided here on the forum. Eventually, you'll see different types of voting options, including picklists, multiple questions, matrices, etc.

I hope you'll enjoy participating in these. If you have a poll idea or any suggestions for how to improve this feature, shoot me a PM.

Current results from last week's poll. As a reminder, this poll will still be active for another 3 weeks for anyone that still wants to participate.

Here's this week's quick poll:
How many transaxle Porsches do you currently own?
Trying to have some fun with the answer options...

This week's poll:
Have you ever owned a non-transaxle Porsche?

For those of you who don't like the definition of "transaxle Porsche", you may substitute the following question:
Have you ever owned a Porsche besides a 924, 931, 924S, 944, 951, 968, or 928? :P

What's your definition of a "non-transaxle" Porsche? A transaxle is a transmission that also houses a differential/final drive assembly. The only non-transaxle Porsche I know of is the Cayanne.

Yeah, I know. "Water Cooled", "Front Engined", "Transaxle", there's no easy short phrase...but generally speaking, I'm referring to anything in the 924/928 lineage. So, a 924, 931, 924S, 944, 951, 968, or 928. Tough to nail down exactly, I was just following a convention used on a few other sites...

That would be "front-engine / rear-transaxle".

The 356/911/912/993/996/997 would be "rear-engine / mid-transaxle".

The 914/Boxster/Cayman would be "mid-engine / rear-transaxle".

It just dawned on me, I'm not sure of the layout of the Panamera. That might be another front-engine / rear-transaxle car.

@Van
The Panamera doesn't have a transaxle. More info here.

@PorscheDude1
Thanks for participating

Yeah, my favorite thing about that trans on the AWD version is how the half shaft goes right through the engine block!
