I have 2 early 924 sunroof delete roofs that will work if you guys are interested? They are both straight and I can either freight the whole top or over cut with grinder & cut off disc the section you need to spot weld and bondo into your car then paint the entire roof section! This method when done proper is far easier and saves time.

Boost, I thought the 924 roof sections wouldnt work on the late model 944's because of the way they meet up with the windshield. I could be wong but I thought the 924's were based on the early model 944 chassis. Please let me know.

Thanks
Brian

Like I said you can cut out the sunroof area and spot in to your roof then polyester bondo and re-paint your roof. I feel this is easier to do than removing your windshield, rear hatch, rain gutters, and having to drill all the spot welds and re spot the new roof on. Let alone finding a late non-sunroof roof for a decent price! Theres probably only 2 -3 known late sunroof delete parts cars around right now? Inside the car you jb weld the 6 factory brackets that hold the bows for the non-sunroof headliner and you have a sunroof delete steel roof!

Lindsey brothers sell a fiberglass roof skin, however it takes more work to get these bonded and prepped right for paint. Also I like the sound of a steel roof skin, there also expensive!

Here is the early 924 roof skin I cut out for Brian with referenced exact sunroof location. I over cut to ship to him so that his body shop can do final exact trimming to spot weld in place and bondo, prime and sand for final paint! All in all with parts, paint materials and about 12 hrs I think the whole job can be done this route for less than $500
