Post clicking dash

Letely there has been an intermittent clicking coming from the lower passenger side of the dash. It happens all the time but it is an intermittent sound, not steady clicks. I have a rebuilt DME that is 3 years old and the AC is not working because of a yet to be diagnosed electronics issue. I thought it might be the temp sensor for the climate control but the temp isnt changing so I dont think thats the problem.
Ideas?

On my 1987-944S with working AC,I now have a clicking noise in the passenger side of the dash.It does not happen all the time, and when it does happen the ferocity of the clicks varies. After removing the glove box it appears there are 2 relays? These have both electrical and vacumn connections on them. There is 1 mounted higher than the other,on my car it is the lower of the 2 that clicks. This is as far as I have gone with the diagnosis.Hope this helps, and if anyone else knows what this is or what these relays control, please pipe in.Thanks <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />

I have the same clicking intermittently on my n/a, but when mine does it the a/c changes over to full heat, and after a few seconds back to a/c. Really bad on these 100 degree days!
