Default Installed rear tow eye

Install is very easy as expected. You can mount it on either side of the car right behind the rear wheels there are 3 bolts that are pretty easy to see. On the driver side the highest bolt will be right near the heat shield and u need to push it out of the way to get the nut on but thats about it. Anyhow 3 nuts, 3 washers, a 17mm wrench and your good to go. It says you may need to get studs as the factory ones may not be in but mine were so who knows.

Looks nice! Where'd you get it from? price?

BTW, what happened to your muffler? It looks like it would melt your rear bumper like that?

I installed the same hooks. I had rubber plugs where some have bolts already on the car.

You can buy them here:

thanks. Got mine from rennbay for $30. My muffler isnt really installed all the way which is why its hanging so low and angled weird...i gotta make a custom bracket and weld it. Anyhow its pointing into the metal not any plastic so for the time being i think its fine.

Third gen, i really like that jack...it's great for taking to the track and since i never lift any big SUV's or trucks the 1 1/2 ton capacity seems to be plenty for my little 924.

i have seen elsewhere that, and others seem to say its ok to jack from trans with the use of some wood or a hockey puck....although a select few dont agree with it or like it.......

i think you can jack from the cross member to....JUST NOT THE OIL PAN OR COOLING FINS

this sumer im thinking about painting all the jack points BRIGHT YELLOW, including the spots for lifts, and jack stands! this way i will never have to think about it again and niether will the place who does my tires!
