A crying shame. No compassion for all those indigent 951S wannabees Boo hoo.

Awww... that's so sweet of you.

1. They said the scrap yards would give $3500. So if someone walks by with $3501 and is actually gonna drive it, why not sell it? Because the scrap yards aren't giving $3500+ for it.

2. Not sure what you mean

3. I'm an enthusiast, I'd help a fellow enthusiast out.

It is said that the car a person drives is a reflection of that person.

ive read that there are stereotypes attributed to people that drive certain cars.

After reading some of the comments by people like dannie etc. I can say I am glad i no longer own a 944 because i wouldnt want to be lumped in any stereotype with him on my dumbest day.

sad, very sad that the current crop of porsche 944 owners may tarnish the stereotype of "real" porsche owners.

This too will pass... on a long enough time line, these will become parted out wrecks, or end up purchased by an appreciable owner.

I for one am quite happy I own 2 fine examples of 944 excellence, and will likely come to own more in the future...

If my suspicions are correct, I can confirm this car is going to a good home, and will likely soon be in full glory.... whether on street or track!

Its odd how I can manage to say little and **** off plenty... You guys lighten up my day with a small bit of laughter ever time I hear your petty hate towards me...

I love how I can make no Names in my postings and just get right to the soul of the ones so concerned with the matter...

Its OK to single me out and try and play me down but really in the end if it makes you feel better to have me on your mind and my name being used by all means keep up the good work... After all what the world be without haters and envy..?

On a lighter note its nice to see that the car is sold to help someones health for the holidays...

However most here could care less about if it went to the crusher or not... Plus doesnt someone owe someone a years salary..? Dont bite off more than you can chew; im sure glad the guys who take this little niche of the internet so seriously like sausage... LoL

On a nice ending Happy Holidays..!

Well, after 8 pages it all seems to come to a close, the saga of the need to sell a Porsche. Gentlemen, this has provided me with interesting reading, what with all the intrigue, drama, and back biting it has been filled with. Hollywood could not have come up with a better short story of the trials and tribulations of one man trying to help out another. Really in the end "Money Talks and Bull Schist Walks."

"MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND A HAPPIER NEW YEAR"

Cheers,
Larry
