Hey Minnesota members!
Any of you going to the swap meet at Carousel this saturday? I'm going to stop by, I've got a red na with gold honeycomb wheels. Hope to see you guys there!

I'll be there with my 4 year-old son. Unless I forget it, I'll be wearing my Porsche jacket (like everyone else). My 951 is torn apart, I finally got the IceShark cables installed. No way that would have worked without taking the intake off. I'll be driving a black 1994 Honda Prelude or a black 1991 Dodge Dakota. I thought IceShark and I were the only Minnesotans. Hope to meet you.

I don't think I will be around this weekend, otherwise I would join you guys.
Carousel really rebuilt the dealership while I was down in Chicago. It is pretty high class so you know where your parts money is going. And why they charge well over a hundred clams per hour for labor. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> I live a couple miles away from it.
There are several other 944/924 MN Rennlisters.
Hey, Ryan, do you want the upgraded negative battery cable? It is $44. I could have someone swing it by and drop off at Carousel if you want.

Car started fine, topped up the tires... maybe it will be there at the swap meet. Weather's looking cooperative.. I'd like to have the car there because I'm looking to swap it for a 928. Seems like a good place/time to get the word out. I just need to be careful that none of the Carousel salespeople glom onto me. Don't want to "get into a Boxster"...

Sweet, I'll see some of you guys there! Hey Dan!, will the cable just fit my early car? I know we talked about taking some measurements. Well I'm off to class and then to fix my sunroof and enjoy the weather

Just moved from Bloomington MN last year...moved to DC for a job and to escape the snow - Joke was on me this year - we've gotten like twice the snow you have...I sure do miss the midwest though...

Ryan, Yup, it fits just fine with no problems. I have a couple other pre 85.5 944s that have it installed right now.
For 44 bucks I would just do it. Your bare copper straps looked pretty shot. Actually, looking at your car and Perry951's engine bay fire is what got me thinking about this battery cable upgrade project. LOL!
Perry/Brian ended up buying the whole battery cable set and Full Boat Headlight package. You may as well get at least the negative to improve those Cibies. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

Dan, yeah I'll take one, I'll be home in another week for spring break might be easier than trying to meet someone on Saturday. I want the full boat upgrade but won't have the cash till summer. If there are any left I'll get one then. Thanks Dan!

Ryan, Ok, we should combine this with Thaddeus getting his full battery cable kit that he wants to pick up.
How is Saturday, the 22nd? Over at the house in Edina you came to? I need to stop by to do some drill press work.
