Hi guys...
I sold me old 944 last winter and now the guy who bought it has repaired the damages on the car. But the car was running when I put it on a storage after the crash and now it as been sitting for almost 4 years.
I helped him changing timing belt and ballancebelt this summer before it was starded. Timing belt is on, has the right tension and timing marks are right (I've done this a few times now). The starter turns the engine but nothing happens. The fuel pump turns and it gets fuel.
I looked at this with um this weekend and we found out that it does get spark in the spark plugs. But the ignition coil gets electric... but it doesn't get anything until the engine has turned maybe about two turns. He has tried 3 different ignition coils now. It never gets spark. All fuses are ok.

Have you any idea what might be going on?

Geir,,, try taking the Gemballa kit off it!! Maybe the car has a soul and doesn't want to be seen like this
