Personally if it's in there and working and has less than 120K on it, I'd leave it be. They last a long time if some ape does not overtension the timing belt.

Burning Brakes
One of my WP's failed and an alternator bearing failed on another car within weeks of new belts not because they were worn out or faulty but the new belts were over-tightened putting an increased stress on the bearings.

New WP bearings will fail as well if the Cam belt is overtensioned.
Change the belt every couple of years and retension inbetween. Cheap insurance. Pelican $11.75 each cam belt for basic 924S/944.
