Default 4 fuchs 16x7 23.3 mm early offset with free extras

Posted here for those that can't view member to member classifieds.

I am selling four 23.3mm offset 16x7 Fuchs.

FREE: The four center caps and 19 aluminum lug nuts.

$400 pick up in Denver or $500 shipped ground anywhere in 48 states. Paypal or cleared check. Cash in person.

Two are off a 944 turbo number 951.362.115
Two are off a 911 number 911.361.020.44

They are straight and true. But all need refinishing to be nice. Or, perfect now for track wheels. Figure, selling them "as is" gives someone the chance to refinish themselves and save some bucks with sweat equity.

There are no dents. No huge gouges that are so big that I have not taken out of other rims by sanding or any good restorer could get out. If you want a show winning set of wheels, I'd go elsewhere. For track or a respectable driver, these are a good option.

The 911 rims are in nice shape. These could clean up and be on a street car and look good with not much more than a painting.

The 951 rims have the clear/anodizing on the rim failed. I don't think previous owner ever washed off brake dust. So, these would need to be completely refinished to look super nice.

Now, the interesting story. I used these as a winter set of rims on my 86 951 that was stolen four years ago. They found the car stripped. A month later I saw these rims for sale on c-list denver. I called the detective and said I found my rims. How many gold Fuchs can there be in Denver? So, detective goes down to shady shop selling them. Calls me back and says thanks for the tip. We arrested him for your car theft and a few others. Never heard a thing until last week when I get a letter from lakewood, co police to come collect my evidence. Better late then never. Selling these along will help me recoup some of the $1500 deductible I lost on the car when it was stolen.

How did the 911 16x7 Fuchs fit over your 951 calipers? Did you have to run a huge spacer? Otherwise the caliper would hit the back of the pedal part of the rim.

I remember when the car was stolen...........glad to hear that there was some sort of "closure".

They were in the rear and I had half-inch spacers on them.

And I also just sold these.
