Default 951 - torque, rpm, and blowby?

Here's a survey question for all of you happy 951 owners who are running stock pistons and rings:

1. At what rpm do you start seeing ring flutter and blow by? Measured say as higher crankcase pressure or oil being ejected in the catch can?
2. How much torque is your engine making at the rpm at which blow by becomes a problem?

Many thanks in advance!

I doubt anyone actually has a quantitative method to answer your question.

I get blow-by at anything over 13PSI... I am currently running at 15PSI MAX... nothing in the catchcan other than water, my blow-by manifests itself at the RMS...

As far as I know my motor internals are stock, 208K, non ported AOS thru a Saiko-michi catch can, MAF, 26-6, no oil in the intake since my turbo rebuild (2K miles or so..) and it blows copious amounts of oil onto the exhaust if I run her HARD... normal driving I see no issues over a slight oil smell after my 75 mile daily commute to work

What rpm does this show up? Say you run that 15 psi max boost?

Best I can say is that a burn a lot less oil shifting at 5500 rpm vs. 6k. In a race when I am pushing it I can go through 3/4 a quart. At a DE I can burn almost none per session if I take it easy. Stock 150k motor. Turbo rebuilt at 110k.

According to my chase car, I burn a very small amount of oil (as seen in the exhaust) at right near 6k if I'm accelerating. I'm brand new to the 951, though, so I don't know how normal this is. The car has 65K miles on it. Totally stock.

Either one of you guys have a dynojet rear-wheel torque curve for the stock '88 Turbo (S?) by any chance?
