Tim, Tim Tim.....our race will never end...LOL. BUT, between you and I, who is the HP man?? That be ME! You have been close, but so far...I'm holding the title...come and get it pal :-)
Tim, I thought Danno only had his car down here once, and on that run he blew the headgasket on 87 octane (tisk, tisk Danno), that was the same day I was tearing up and down prospect at full boost trying to figure out my missing issue, remember? Infact, I think it was you that decided to look into the spark plug holes on my car and found a washer laying next to the plug, we pulled the washer out and ran the car to 371.
Anyway, how about this...I'll throw it down and see what you guys decide...how about a collaboration of the So Cal. tuners on one motor...one dyno pull, one collective effort, to make the biggest baddest 951 motor out there. Now that would rock :-)
But who would buy the thing afterwards to pay the cost of building it....maybe not a good idea LOL, too many big bucks I fear.
Chris, thanks for the picture...those were the days of fun!
Take Care!

It was 89-octane @ 13psi and I won't mention who wasn't able to tune it for a flat fuel curve with a 4-knobbies adjuster. Or who suggested I turn up the boost to compensate for a too-rich midrange ...
"THAT is the FISRT pic I have ever seen of Danno!"
Actually, that's not me at all! I deny the allegations and the alligator!!!

I'd love to see you guys get together, bury the hatchet, and work on one car. Of course, like you said, the costs would be prohibitive, and it sounds like you all have enough other stuff to do.
Danno, any interest in my dash still? Sorry to keep hassling you, but I need to decide what I'm going to do with it soon. I'd sure love to trade for some much-needed parts. wastegate... chips... MAP kit <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

Danno, I thought it was 87 octane LOL, ok...I'll let you off the hook. But that was a picture taken that run right? You were told to turn UP the boost too???? It was a bomb waiting.

I've actually got a photo of Danno somewhere on my hard drive from the pizza run last year... but I'm with Devia on this one... Especially if I plan on buying more Guru parts!

Good point Prerydog. They all look so happy in the picture its hard to imagine them ripping on one another. Does it matter whos right about the numbers on that day? How much does it cost to be right?

I don't know who's idea it was to modify Danno's face from the original picture but it sure wasn't funny...
