The California 944 Tuner Conspiracy!!!
 

Actually, there is no conspiracy, but I thought that'd get your attention. So, here's a pic I promised about a month ago of most of the big 944 tuners. From left to right: Tim (Speedforce Racing), John (Anderson Motorworks), Danno (Guru Racing), and the man behind the camera is Derrek (Huntley Racing). This was taken at a dynoday that HR held for the San Diego PCA, years ago, before there was a SFR, AMW, or Guru...

In person, Tim Richards looks alot like Danny Bonaducci and John A. with his hair real short resembles Curly Joe. Come to the BBQ on the 12th and you can confirm or deny these assessments.

jason and i are going to digitally enhance the only known picture of Danno, and make many many copies, and distort his face so he looks really really funny... and also, he makes good chips... but not to eat.

Actually SFR had just been started by me shortly before the picture was taken:^) I was the horsepower king on that day..350hp and 379 ft/lbs of torque at the wheels. Ha Ha! Danno was the unlucky guy that day. Blown headgaket!

Ok, let me guess...
Danno's White 951. Stage VI MAF with Stage II Huntley Turbo. Somewhere around 300-350 rwhp. Currently under rebuild. I'm guessing around 400rwhp when he's done.

John's black 951. Depending on the year. (and the week), it probably had a similar system as Dannos, or a pumped 2.8 with close to 400rwhp and enormous torque. Sold and gone to making HP the hard way <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

Tim's Black 951. 340rwhp sticks in my head. could have been 360. It won the beauty contest. Tim, what's happening with your car these days?

Um, Tim...I laid down 371 at the tires that day, I believe that was actually a picture taken of the So Cal Pizza run I had, it was the weekend Danno lost his head and had to ride with Mike on the run up to the lookout.

I have the Dyno chart to this day! 371 at the tires at 6000rpm, 22psi boost. 230k on the motor.

Man, those were the fun days...who knows...maybe.....

Hey John,

This was the day I was tuning the TEC-III. Remember I started with 275 at the wheels and you were giving me a mess of crap! LOL. I dont think you ran on this day unless I am horribly mistaken:^0

See, this is why you need to time/date stamp all of your pictures, when you become old and feeble, you'll look back on those pictures and ponder for hours on just when the hell that really was. By the time you figure THAT out, your audience has left! :)
