No....just no....why even care to test that out? His Ford Pimpo GL is likely to loose control or...break if he tries to gas it too hard.
Just....no.

Not worth it. Unlike track racing in street racing it all comes down to who is the craziest daredevil. This will not be your last challenge for sake of sanity laugh and ignore them.

Just make sure he didn't transplant the driveline from a RS Cosworth! I suspect everything bolts up.

i had a 93 tempo gl... it was my first car, not a bad one at that. it'll prolly be a little slower, with the 2.3L powerplant, and 2 more doors... you shouldnt have much trouble silencing his crap... but as a side note i dont condone street racing. if i were you i'd ask him which wheels drive the car again? LOL and also, whats with those pushrods... muhahahahaha

Absolutely classic!

A Tempo's engine does not qualify as a "powerplant".

Also, let me agree that you do NOT street race.......but if you are going to don't lower us all by racing a friggin Tempo for God's sake.

Ford used that POWERPLANT since the 70s, it proved itself well. it was decent for the car, and was reliable... im not going dissing your first car, so lay off, huh! or are you just sad because since your car is heavier the tempo might actually give yours a run for its money
