Default Oil Light with 4.5 on the gauge

Was out on a drive to the coast this weekend and after about 2 hours of driving the oil light came on, but gauge reading 4.5 at 75mph and 3 at idle. I checked the oil and still full. Started her back up and no light. On the drive home light, stopped and no light again.

Any thoughts?

Default re

Will try that tonight.

Feel almost foreign with this car.

After the drive to get a feel for her, looks like the only things really that I need to do is stiffen her up a bit.

My first 944 and hooked . Found a 89 Turbo S on some back roads 50 miles north of Savannah, Ga. sitting in a front yard with a small for sale sign on her. Wife is going to kill me but for 2400 I cannot pass it up. Older guy and feel kinda bad because he really does not know what he has.

Picking her up the Weekend of Dec 4th. Inside needs a little work, seats and carpet. Has been sitting under a tree and the Black paint is covered with crap.
