Post Help! Answers needed Regarding Strut Replacment.

I need to replace my struts. My 84 944 came with the Boge struts and I would like to do the Koni adjustable replacement. I cannot seem to find a definitve answer whether the conversion kit works with these older housings and I want to be sure before I buy the kits. Does anybody have advice or suggestions? Thanks.

Call Jason at Paragon Products. He is an absolute expert on Konis. If he doesn't know, I don't know who would. www.paragon-products.com

The proper Koni sport for your application is 8641-1038S - your struts are rebuildable, meaning that the strut insert is held in a with by large gland nut on top. Simply remove the strut from the car (using a spring compressor), remove the spring, remove the gland nut, replace the insert, install and test.

BTW, the rear match of that strut for your car is 26-1209S

Good Luck!
