Post car cover

Boy, what a difference having one of these! Every year we spend a vacation on the ocean in Long Beach Island, NJ. Previous years I'd have to wash the car each morning to remove the ocean breeze slime from the car. This year I picked up a genuine Porsche car cover (944). I just have to unscrew the antenna and it fit perfectly. This year the car kept clean all week, and it kept the sun off it as well. My car is garaged at home and at the office, but if it wasn't I'd be using the cover every day.

Folks underestimate the power of the cover! After you get used to putting it on and off the car it takes less than a minute. I roll mine up from the ends so that the parts exposed to the tires and under-nits are not rubbing against the car. Roll from the front and then roll from the back the fold the side I'm on over the top , slide my way and grab the far side and fold it over. I stick the thing in the truck in the same orientation so when I take it out I ain't confused (easier to confuse myself as I get older!). I was it in the jumbo speed queen at the laundromat every couple of months. No cracked dash or faded interior and it stays cleaner longer!
