OK, sorry. But hope you understand it might get frustraiting to read/answer to same questions all over again

There are several manufactures for S2 chips.
I suppose S2 guys prefers Steve R's chips.
Also most "major" 944 tuners have chips available.
Check out Guru racing,SFR,Autothority,Huntley,Lindsey etc.

Since S2 is NA car don't expecttoo much. You will probably gain 7-10hp with the chips.

S2nut: up towards the top of the screen under the button that says post topic there is another place to click on search. When you get to that screen you can enter in a few keywords and also which boards to look back through. If you have a question that seems pretty simple you will most likely find it in the archives.

Welcome to the list, hopefully we'll get some pics of your car soon. Always love to see other S2's out there.

Stock rims are beautiful, IMO. But if you're looking to get rid of them, I'm interested: I need a second set of wheels for track use... Are they Phone dials, 7Jx16 front and 8Jx16 rear? Lemme know if you sell 'em...

There are some chips out there, but don't expect mad hp gains! Say 5-10 hp tops, with a good chip, and a little remapping of the fuel delivery is all you should expect. Some swear by aftermarket chips, some swear at them! Most of them only push the rev limiter up a bit. IMO, it's not worth the price.

Just my $0.42
-Z-man.

PS: Oh yeah: welcome to RENNLIST! More specs on your car, please...

For the "name brand" $400 ones, yeah, but Steve R.'s are only $155 right now which for an S2 is one of the cheaper upgrades out there.

$155? Hey... I paid $165... man.. I got ripped off... Just kidding.

I agree... so far... in the short time that I've had it installed, for $165, it seems to be worth it. There are folks that probably spend $800 or more for an exhaust system that does less...
