XSBoost 951 Mid-OH Video
I finally got around to posting up this video of Dan giving Vinny a ride on a very cold day at Mid-OH. He gives a ride and a show.

Please comment! I need to have hard evidence so I can give Dan some crap about his driving.
EDIT: I was able to watch it now that I'm not at work... I think the "issues with lines" are pretty self explanatory. Dan's an instructor???

please- tell me how bad of a driver i am!
- double hitting the brakes- well... i dont heal toe shift.
btw- this is the end of a full session(and three day weekend) of hard driving . Still managed to pull out some 1:44 and maybe quicker times. Im about to swap to street tires for awhile OR go all out to full race alignment and ....etc.

I think it was some good driving after driving all weekend on a track that never got much over 40 degrees at all. I only wish the roll bar was not in the shot so much. I think my mount must have moved...

I ran a couple HPDE's at Mid O this year with NASA and I had miatas and a c4 vett spin out in front of me in the keyhole, unfortunately my cam didn't caputre it because the battery had gone dead :P
Good thing you saved it Dan, or you'd be painting your ride and not the Rock's..

I think it was some good driving
1. You missed the apex of turn 1, this dosen't alow you to carry as much speed as possible from 1 to 2
2. If you stay about 2' away from the curb on the first left of the chicane you can carry more speed in the chicane
3. This also caused you to miss the apex of the second left of the chicane
4. You are too high through the keyhole which makes getting to the apex more difficult, additionally you can carry more speed in the keyhole than you think and if you do a slight lift when the track drops the car will rotate and point you right at the apex. This makes it possible to get full throttle much earlier giving you a higher top speed at the end of the back straight.
5. The short stretch between 7 & 8 should be full throttle.
6. Your apex at 9 is several feet too late making 10a slower If you correct 10a then 10b should be about 2' off the curb and the whole section at full throttle.
7. You are very late at 11 which slows the corner and does not alow you to fully track out.
I hope this helps.
