+1 On building an engine block table. I have seen a nice coffee table done using a Rover 3.5 block that would be cool to model after.

I had a crank sitting vertical with a phone dial on top with 4 pistons/rods out the side and up holding a glass top. All good til the kids knocked it over. Love the work>\

the bladed tubing makes it look like a 58, good eye!

its about a 60-61cm frame (i'm 6'1") but has compact geometry. the seatpost is out a mile but its a normal road campy record post and its got quite a ways before the max. the sloped top tube makes it look worse than it is...

Nice handiwork!

I had a couple of 968 engines I wanted to make into coffee tables, until I realized how friggin heavy they are! For some reason I'm always moving my furniture, so I couldn't handle a 75lb table.

What spring rates are you using on that tv stand and what formula did you use to determine the rate? Also I would have gone with the MO30 sway bar for the coffee table. The sway you have won't handle the weight of a full glass of beer balanced on the edge and will cause vast oversteer. One last thing, I think the lamp in this picture should have been made from a torque tube to complete the look.

Nice work.

Mine didn't take near the work, lol. Lay on end, slap on glass top....done.

3.3L from a 930. Perfect addition to the theater room.

sway bar is solid mounted (no bushings) even though it is undersized, it should perform well.

unfortunately, my torque tube has more pressing duties than "mood lighting"
