Well being that you worked into another 944 is good news. Congrats on that. I'm in need of the backing plate for the hood release lever. My lever is fine but the backing plate is broken where the cable attatches. How is yours?

Dan:

I have not looked at the back seat belts in a long time! I'll take a look for you in the morning and we can go from there. I'll drop you an email with pics then as well.

nh3:

I do have it and it is in good condition. Drop me an email and we can figure out what to do next.

DMB,
Maybe you could have a viewing on Sat or Sun for all us folks that want parts. We could all meet at the same time that way it doesnt take up too much of your day.

That sounds fine to me. I had to stash the car at my parent's house in San Pedro. I am thinking Sat would be the best day, let me check on one thing first and I'll drop another post in the morning.

I need....
Sunroof Guides left and right
Sunroof latches left (Don't think it matters)
Relays, switch and motor if reasonable? Don't know yet what is wrong with mine, but it does nothing. I have to test yet to see. Mostly interested in the plastic on the sunroof that I listed.
Hood and hatch shocks?
Engine tray/shield on the bottom any good?
Armrest and cassette tray any good? Could use all the console, except for the console itself.
Drivers side mirror?
Digital clock (if cheap, I know they are not )
Drivers side foglight/lense
Power steering reservoir and lines
inner stabilizer rubber
overflow tank to radiator hose
winshield wiper motor (front)
rear winshield wiper motor (If Peter doesn't want it! He was first, I edited this after he put it and thought , "DOH!")

Hey, you asked
Dam, I just need a new car!

Thanks! Sorry to hear about your loss, but you will always have the memories!

sorry about your car.... But...

How about the black head liner piece that covers the sun roof gears. The one that goes between the sunroof and the hatch. If you have this please let me know.

That is really a shame about your car, sorry.
If you want to get rid of it/still have it, I would be interested in the Radio unit for my other car.

Oh! floormats. Do you have decent floormats? If you did, you probably moved them into the new car, but it's worth a shot.

I pm'd you and MichelleJD earlier with a "Thanks, anyway" for the valence. Seeya.

WOW! I am glad to see that this stuff is going to be of good use to someome!

Sorry I've been dealing with a dead coil (at least that is what I hope) in another car that stranded me this morning.

I've sent off some emails. I was able to strip most of the interior and the rear hatch area this afternoon before the sun went down.

If folks in the LA area want to come by and take a look for stuff, sounds great to me. Sunday would work best, say 10-4 or so?

Sorry about the floor mats, I've been searching for a nice set too. The ones in the car are plain, non-Porsche mats. Just something to protect the carpet underneath.

My biggest problem is figuring out what to charge for things. I want to be fair, but I really have no clue. What have others used to price things? Looking for a little adivce here.

I appreciate all the replies. I don't get to pick up the "new" one until Wednesday, so the going crazy in the meantime. But at least I can focus on getting these parts out to you guys.

Check the classifieds and price lists at the various dismantlers (tend to be high). Also check out eBay completed-auction listings and see what prices stuff have sold for (tend to be low). <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />
