Post New Clutch Now having Problems

Hello again everyone. I just got my car back on Friday of last week. Clutch seems fine but I'm having a problems with 1st Gear. I press the clutch engage 1st gear and I start to accelerate. While accelerating The car shutters and jumps into gear. I brought it back to the mechanic on Monday for him to adjust it. He said he bleed the cylinders but I am still having the problem. The car shutters into 1st gear. All other gears are fine no problems what so ever. What can be causing this. Also, what I started to experience today was a sticky clutch. Sometimes hard to press and sometimes easy and sometimes its slow releasing. HELP I'm going crazy going back and forth to the mechanic???

Thanks

Was the flywheel resurfaced? Are you losing brake/clutch fluid?

Were the cylinders and hose replaced?

As far as I know the flywheel was not touched and I;m not loosing any fluid. The clutch pedel sometimes feels stiff and other times it will not pop up right a way. And small 1sec gap befpre it raises.

Hope that help in finding the problem.

Evan:

Have the mechanic check the amount of travel on the clutch release fork first. He needs to help diagnose the problem since he replaced the clutch. You still have a clutch problem, but it could be the clutch itself or the hydraulic clutch actuation.

Sounds to me like the hydraulics are shot, but it could be that the new throwout bearing is bad or the fork is flexing or broken.
