Default Ground wire between PS rack and crossmember

The rebuilt PS rack I got from autozone does not have a mounting point for the high pressure line mounting clamp, which is where the ground wire would also attach coming from the crossmember. Should I bother reattaching this ground wire? Not knowing exactly why this is there, I am having difficulty in evaluating alternative grounding points!

Yes, if you want your horn to work, but by some fluke it may work with out the ground wire. Does all wiper, light, turn siganal work OK?

Cheers,
Larry

Thanks for the heads up on that. I would not have guessed that those circuits would require a crossmember to ps rack ground, so I am glad I asked. Haven't reattached the battery yet, but will make sure to keep an eye out for random electrical gremlins after I find a suitable alternative grounding point. Any suggestions are welcome. Maybe the view port on the underside of the rack?
