Post Anyone know where to get a hardware set for the bottom end?

Seems I over looked this. I need a complete hardware set for the girdle. Any ideas?

Let me know!

Perry,
I thought you had all of the stuff from your teardown....
Is it that you just want to replace the nuts and bolts with new hardware..?

I've got all of it, used though, came off a pretty clean block that I had once....

Garrity had put all new hardware (studs too) on my old block. I sent it all back to him.

Thanks Terry. I am going new. I have gone this far with it, it seems fitting to do it 100% by the book.

Again, I want to thank you for your generosity, humbleness, and pride. You are an asset to this forum. That block will have the best home available.

I'm sure of it......

I'm looking forward to taking you up on using up some of those RE's one day, so by all means build it right with new stuff.

I just thought from your post that you thought they'd be there that's all, I never really thought about it....

Damned, another setback eh..?

It's that Karma man I tell ya, <img src="graemlins/icon501.gif" border="0" alt="[icon501]" />

I have a set of rod nuts, brand new, if you forgot those too......

Naw.. I'm cool on the rod nuts. '86 rods, cleaned up oil passages, new wrist pin bushings, and ARP bolts and nuts.

I was going to order the harware set a while ago, but it got left off an order. Guess I forgot to re-order them. It is alright, I have a delay on a balace shaft bearing anyhow.

Later

Oh, and a LITTLE of the RE730's. <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[burnout]" />

Perry:

Raceware makes a nice set. 800-468-1977.

Use product # RTE-2009 MSK, $279.95 plus UPS. I am using them on my new engine. The kit includes the 12mm and 10mm studs, with washers and nuts. You will need a 7/16" 12 point and a 9/16" or 14mm 12 point sockets to install the nuts.
