nope...i gotta pull it out of my own pocket...that is what i am also pissed about...more $$$$ down the drain and on top of that, i'll have to wait even more till the motor gets done....

also he said that if i find a block that doesnt need sleeved, he wont charge me for the boring that he done....but so far all the block i found for a good price need sleeved....ugh...

space about to get ahold of Mr. Daniels and having him solve some of the problems....

Hey.. if the dude broke it, he should pay for what it costs you to get back to where you were. Why should you lose money because someone else busted yo ****? Damn

Serious now, there are blocks out there that are ate up and in need of sleeves, prob about $100.

Dan, what did you do with your block?

I need to bring the block to the machine shop to see if I can get 102mm pistons in there to cover that scratch up. If not it will be re-sleeved.

Spacecowboy,
If your machine shop broke your block and they need to compensate you for a new one. They just can't say sorry broke your block buy a new and we will re-sleeve it. I hope your not having them re-sleeve your new block?? I could see it now...them calling you saying they broke this one as well. Terriable...

Depends on what he agreed to, If the deal up front says "there is a chance of fracture durring the machining process and we can't be held responsible" then he is SOL. Now if they broke it by dropping it on the concrete that would be a diffrent story.
