Switch to earthlink, they have a great pop-up blocker, And I know there a bunch of blockers that you can download. Try Download.com and do a search...your bound to find a good one there.

Try a different web browser .... Mozilla and Phoenix provide options for blocking popup windows.

If you have Norton Internet Security with the web filter module you can block all that stuff. Blocks ads too.

popup stopper isn't bad, there's another i've seen that's like Stopzilla or something, seems to work better

use Mozilla, like CurlyDE said. there are a few problems with it, like some java, but overall it really works great.

I really like Crazy Browser...it's just an overlay for Internet Explorer that adds a tabbed function as well as popup blocking and a few other minor things that Microsoft "forgot". Also it's popup blocking is by far the best of any of the dozens I've tried. It allows the ones you want, and blocks the ones you don't, very accuratly. Don,

Thanks for the tip. I didn't realize it was that easy to turn them off in Mozilla. I've been using the Panicware program, but having to hold down the CTRL key often was becoming a pain. Ahhhhh, I can browse in peace again.
