Yeah, I saw that earlier. Pretty cool car. I wonder if it's the one that has been seen here at No Problem Raceway?

The Rothmans, with the same paint job, that showed up here is supposed to be damn fast! From what I'm told it was the only car, of various Pcars, that stayed on the same lap with the Kelly Moss cars.

Hey guys, it's my Rothman Turbo Car on Ebay. Its a fact, that at the ring the Turbo Cup was faster than the 959. Its documented. Not a big deal, becuase if you have raced a 951, they handle better. I'm not saying that the Rothmans' car would beat a 959 in a straight line.

The car is awesome. I am selling this car and my 1992 US Carrera Cup as well. I am going to do semi professional racing and need to raise some money. I hate to sell the Rothmans Turbo Cup becuase I have wanted it for a long time.

Bottom line...If you know of anyone that would give my car a good home, please let me know.

Very nice. What exactly are you refering to when you say "the ring". I'm not questioning you in any way, i'm just unfamiliar with what that is.

Hope you find a good buyer!

I apologize, it is the Nurenburg Ring. Every year, they have a supercar contest to determine what race cars, street cars etc., can make the fastest lap.

If I'm not mistaken, the article I read said the main reasons weres weight and the difference in the handling between the two cars.

By the way, thanks for the good comments about the car. I bought this car from a fellow rennlister. He did a great job of keeping this car original and very clean. I'm sure he is as heart broken as I am about me selling it.

Jim, what a great car. I'm not in a position to buy it, but can you tell us a little about it's restoration?

If there were any possible way for me to buy it, I wouldn't think twice about writing that check. *drool*

How are the front chassis rails reinforced? I am curious. I have an '86 with an original CUp hood on it, and would love to do more to bring my car closer to the Cup spec.

*more drool* Nice car!

Regards,

Jim, too bad you sell it, you will regret it someday. I know I'll never sell mine. Very nice (and correct) description. PLEASE post more pics, here or to my private adress.

WOW! Super nice car Jim. I'm with george about regretting it someday, but you've got to do what you've got to do. Maybe one day you'll get an even more spectacular car... i'm not sure how at the moment, but it is possible.

Nice car, i wish i could afford it.

Maybe we could do a group buy...

I'll take custody of the car and sell weeks of ownership for $1K per week, like a vacation timeshare. Except in this case, I'll keep the car in order to protect the investment, and send you an official certificate to hang on the wall!

If/when it's time to sell, we'll split any profit!!

Deal?
