I know what you mean. We were forecast for storms this morning instead we got sunny skies and 70 degrees.

I didn't need to hear that . It's been raining all day and there are flash flood warnings, and that's all on top of the remaining 1'+ of snow....

If these loonies are correct the weather will get pretty weird this spring:

I might have to put the cable on my car cover. :-)

OK - I win. I live in Lexington, KY and due to last weekend's ice storm I have not had power for EIGHT days. Charging my laptop and cell phone on my generator. They hope to have us back up today.

BRING ON SPRING.

wow-8 days!! We had a similar ice storm here in middle tennesse a few years back. We lost power for 4 days. No generator, but have two great fireplaces. Burned 1 rick of wood in 4 days, but kept warm. Cooked on the fire with cast iron skillets. Great fun, good family bonding, no TV!!

Yep - freezing cold, windy and snowing again here in KS. Can't wait for the job market to open back up so we can get the hell out of here.....this place is hotter than Atlanta in the summer and cold as hell in the winter. Bah.
