Default Is this a good deal?

PORSCHE 944
1985

- Original working engine
- approx. over 200,000 miles
- Needs a battery. (if you put in a battery it will run but make sure you remember to put water in the radiator since it has a leak.)

- The Radiator has a leak.

Problems on the Driver's Side::
- Break lines (hoses) not hooked up because a NEW front lower control arm was put in.
- BRAND NEW clutch worth $2,000
- Side view mirror broke
- Door will not open

That is what it said on the ad I would be paying 600$ for it and my plan is to make a daily driver that can rip in the canyons/track is this a good deal or just to bad of condition to start out with?

Ping Frank (legoland951). He's got a few good ones at good prices. He may consider a trade too (saw your post in classifieds). He is in Long Beach. Michael

That could end badly, if the belts are old... Of course, that would be the present owner's grief.

That ad smacks of a car that was not taken care of at all. You can count on a much longer list of things that are wrong with it, I am certain.

An old, cheap Porsche - what could possibly go wrong?

Could go either way... Still its a late dash car and you can get your 600 back out of it by parting it so why not?
